So in my post on apple fritters I mentioned that this past semester I cooked, as a part of a team, Sunday brunch for the members of my co-op. So last weekend I helped a friend make these cookies. By which I mean I did a fabulous job of always managing to be standing where she needed to walk, chatted about random things, got to have a bit of batter from the bowl after the cookies were in the oven, and got the second cookie. So I live in a student co-op. Part of my rent is 4 hours of labor every week. For my labor I cook. This past semester I cooked Sunday brunch and Thursday lunch. Sunday brunches were especially fun because there was no set menu. We just took whatever was available in the fridge and freezer and put things together.
